We are looking for a New Business Director to join our thriving agency and lead it to new heights in the social media industry. Not only will you be developing client relationships and working to bring on those household named brands, you’ll also play a big part in the growth of Spin.

Catering to an astonishingly eclectic roster of clients. And believe us when we say eclectic; we're talking about a lineup that'll make your head SPIN! Sportswear, digital cameras, dairy alternatives, life insurance, delicious food, tech, and even the world of sex toys! Sounds like my kind of party.

The New Business Director will be responsible for (but not be limited to):

Business Development Strategy: 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive new client acquisitions, in alignment with the agency's growth goals.

Team Leadership: 

  • Manage and provide leadership to the sales team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary resources, tools, and training to excel in their roles.

Client Services Collaboration: 

  • Collaborate closely with the Client Services Director to ensure smooth transitions and excellent service delivery to new clients.

Marketing Alignment: 

  • Work hand-in-hand with the Marketing Director to develop campaigns and strategies that promote the agency's services and attract potential clients.

Lead Generation: 

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and other channels.

Pitching and Proposals: 

  • Lead or support in the development and delivery of compelling pitches and proposals to potential clients.

Client Relationship Management: 

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as the primary point of contact during the onboarding process.

Revenue Growth: 

  • Set ambitious revenue targets and continuously monitor progress towards meeting or exceeding those targets.

Market Insights: 

  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitors, using this knowledge to inform strategy and tactics.


  • Regularly report on the new business development activities, performance metrics, and outcomes to the executive team.

Here’s what we’ll need from you as our new New Business Director:

  • Proven track record of success in business development and sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of the social media marketing industry and digital advertising landscape.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to identify and seize new opportunities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, project management tools, and relevant analytics.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • A network of industry contacts and potential clients is a plus.

  • Salary: Will be disclosed before first stage interview
  • Time: 38 hours, 5 days a week (Mon-Fri)
  • Location: Borough, London (hybrid – 2 days in the office per week)
  • Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
